The rotating skeleton on a motorcycle above Ogden & Grand

Save the Skeleton!

For 30 years, a steadfast skeleton on a motorcycle has has watched over Ogden & Grand in the great city of Chicago. It’s an epic landmark and part of West Town’s identity. With the closing of the Twisted Spoke, this heroic figure is at risk of disappearing.

We are going to convince the City of Chicago to preserve it by calling for the relocation of the skeleton to the Ogden Avenue median, the true start of Route 66, where it can keep rotating–while the world around it shifts.
